Template Gallery is a feature of CM that provides pre-designed templates for CM websites, enabling your organization to deliver professionally designed websites without the need for custom web design and web development. Each template is a comprehensive set of floor plans for a website's home page and interior page layouts that have been professionally designed by web designers for a consistent and attractive look-and-feel "right out of the box".
Template Gallery, like CM itself, is automatically installed as a core component of iMIS when you choose a Complete installation of iMIS. The Site Management license package includes a license for Template Gallery. When defining websites, you can choose to select a design from the Template Gallery, which enables you to browse through the available template designs, read about the recommended uses for each template, and then select the design that you want.
Every template has an option to Create default navigation with web component links? that automatically creates the standard functionality of the iMIS Public view by adding "tabs" such as Member Services, Events, Store, etc. to your new website. This enables you to provide a comprehensive set of iMIS functionality in your new template-themed website, and your CM website can effectively replace the Public view of iMIS.
After a CM website has been created in this manner, you can then fully tailor the master pages and other aspects of the website exactly as you would for any website that you had created without the benefit of Template Gallery.
